I would start the lesson by asking students what shapes, colors and forms of symmetry they are aware of. After establishing what they know, I would give my Tinkercad bridge as an example to the students. They could use the model of the 3D bridge that I created in the form of a math lesson. The design of the bridge exhibits symmetry in all angles. The students would be able to dissect it and look at it in ways that can show possible symmetry. I connected parts of the bridge that form shapes as well when they came together. There is the form of triangles, diamonds, and spherical shapes. They could also practice counting the number of bars I used to build it, the amount of shapes, colors, etc. I designed the bridge with these things in mind as well as for the grade level I intended (elementary). After letting them carefully examine the example I provided, I would let them create their own design of whatever object they decided on. There would be room for diversity and much creativity regarding shapes, sizes, colors, quantity, etc. This can help all students and even students who struggle with learning as it can provide a great visual aid.
